Silverdale Baptist Academy Health Clinic

Mrs. Anne Widener heads our Health Services Department providing preventative and immediate nursing care as well as health education to preschool through 12th grade students, faculty, and staff. Nurse Anne and Shelby provide care for chronic and acute illnesses and injuries, prepare and implement emergency health plans, serve as a liaison to community health resources, and promote overall wellness with our students.

CPR Classes

Please click on the link below to sign up for a class. If you already are CPR certified, just email me a copy of your eCard or scan and email me a copy of your card if you haven't done so already; if I certified you, then I already have a copy of your card on file.

Information on the CPR Class: Classes are 4 hours long. During the class, we will watch the American Heart Association training videos and practice with the manikins (adult, child, and infant). We will covering CPR on adults, children, and infants, as well as AED use and how to relieve choking. At the end of each session, you will complete a skills check off with me. All you bring with you to class is something to take notes on and a pen. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes because we will be practicing compressions and breathes with our manikins.  


Bloodborne Pathogen Class

This class is designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. This is a program for SBA Staff to complete at the beginning of each school year

For scrapes and small cuts, please feel free to utilize your bandaids and antibiotic ointment. If you need more, stop by our nurse clinic at your convenience.

Middle & High School Protocol

Return to Campus 

In the event you have a student that went home ill and has returned the following day and you are concerned he/she returned too soon, please email nurse@silverdaleba.org


When a student goes home ill, the nurse  emails his/her parents “nurse’s notes” that includes when the student may return to campus if unable to return immediately (ie, 24 hours symptom free/fever free, clearance from doctor, etc.). 

Radio for Medical Emergencies

If a student is unable to ambulate safely, please radio for a nurse on channel 2.
