Promethean Board Basics

• Promethean "Key Card"

  • Each Teacher has a Promethean "key card" that logs them into a Promethean Board.  This sets up your connections, links, profile on a board (this way you can move from room to room easily).

• Connections - How to get content on the board...
  - Board Itself - Promethean Board can operate independent of ANY other device!
  - Laptop  (USB-C) - just plug it in and the Promethean Board will control your laptop.
  - Apple TV - Mainly for Students or the Teacher when wireless is needed (SBC uses for SS)

• Basic Troubleshooting - What to do when things go wrong...
  - Restart the board - Press and hold the power button for more than 10 seconds
  - Restart the app - Close the app and relaunch
  - Call for help! - Press the Intercom Button and as for the IT Department
