Change iPad Passcode, Apple ID or Email Password

I. iPad Passcode

• Tap the “Settings” icon

• Tap on "Passcode"

• Enter your current passcode

• Near the top, tap on “Change Passcode” (note that there is an option to “Turn Passcode ON/OFF” at the top of the page)

• Type in your new Passcode--twice to verify

• To Change the lock-out time, tap on “Require Passcode” to see/set desired time, then tap the left arrow Password lock at the top left of the pane to return

• Exit

II. Apple ID Password

• Tap the “settings” icon

• Tap the “iTunes and App Store” tab

• Tap on your Apple ID: (user info at the top of the viewing pane)

• Tap on “View Apple ID”

• If you are NOT automatically signed in, you may have to type in your Apple ID password 

• On the Account settings pane, tap on your Apple ID at the top

• It will take you to a new pane where you can set a new password

• Tape “Done” in the upper right corner a couple of times to return to Settings

III. Email Password

• Tap "Gmail"

• Click on the menu button (three lines) in the top left corner

• Tap on your “Account” with the email address at the top of the SBA Gmail pane

• This will open a new tab. Click on "Security"

• Click "Password"

• Enter your current password, then enter your new password twice

• Tap “done” to save the change, then tap “done” again to complete
