Phone System Functions

Basic Phone Operations

• The “ANS/RLS” is the Answer/Release button and takes phone back to ready.

• You may dial without picking up the handset by just dialing. This activates the speakerphone function.

• Press Speed Dial buttons (programmed for you) and show red if the party is on the line.

• Most of the time if you need a feature it will display on Soft Buttons (button functions change pre screen)

• Voicemail to Email – Makes a COPY of your voicemail as a file attachment.

Hold

• Receive or make your call (dial 9 first if external)

• Press “HOLD”

• One of your 2 “Call” buttons will begin to blink

• Press the “Call” button to pick back up.

• On hold music is WMBW.

Conferencing

• Make your first call (dial 9 first if external)

• Press the first option (CONF) in the Soft Button menu at the top

• Make your second call (dial 9 first if external)

• Press the third option (CONF) in the Soft Button menu at the top twice to join

Transferring – Use "VMT" to go directly to Voicemail

• Receive or make your call (dial 9 first if external)

• Press “Transfer”

• Dial the target of the transfer (dial 9 first if external)

• Once the party answers,

  • Hang up to deliver the transfer

  • If the target does not answer, just press first option in the Soft Button menu (RETURN) to get the original call back to speak with the, transfer to another number or transfer to voicemail

Getting your Voicemail

• Press “VMSMSG” or dial SBA Main Number (892-2319) from outside then press “#” and then your extension number

• Enter your password when prompted

• Use Soft Buttons to Play, Save, and Delete (or wait for prompts)
